Hello All; Ross recently posted the TOC for JEI, as supplied by the editor. For those of you with access to a Telnet client (either within your web browser, departmental gopher, Internet service provider), you can obtain the TOCs from any of 17,000 different titles (most of the social sciences periodicals, including JEI) through the CARL Uncover Alert Service. As TOC information is added to their database, subscribers are "alerted" and sent the TOCs (of their favorite journals) via email. CARL offers many other services, most importantly is access to their periodicals database (well worth a visit). For more information point your web browser to: http://www.carl.org/carlinfo.html or telnet to: database.carl.org or send email to: [log in to unmask] As a frequent user of the service, I recomend it highly. A quick note concerning the Contents alert service, though. It is designed to allow users to "reply" with article id information and their password so as to acquire a copy of the article (this is not to imply that it is unreadable or useless -- far from it). Anne's TOC (which Ross graciously posted), is much more readable, particularly if you have relatively unfettered access to hardcopy of the journal.
