Hello, I am looking for a reference to "Waterloo teeth" in Mark Twain's work. I believe I was browsing a Mark Twain collection when I ran across this expression a few years ago. In the context it was only a passing comment but I think it was an allusion to a practice of collecting teeth from a battlefield to be used in making dentures. I have since re-read all of Mark Twain's short stories and essays. I have also scanned several of his books without success. Can anyone help me with this? Neil [log in to unmask]
