====================== HES POSTING ===================== The Forum for History of Human Science (an interest group affiliated with the History of Science Society) is pleased to announce a prize competition for best recent published article on some aspect of the history of the human sciences. Starting this year, the prize will be awarded every other year, in rotation with the Forum's dissertation prize. The article prize will be nonmonetary. The winner will be announced at the annual History of Science Society meeting and in relevant newsletters. Entries are encouraged by authors from any discipline, as long as the work is related to the history of human science, broadly construed. To be eligible, the article must have been published within the past three years (i.e., 1994-1996, inclusive). Authors may submit more than one entry for the prize. Send three copies of each entry to the Forum's Corresponding Secretary, David A. Valone, Quinnipiac College, Box 77, 275 Mt. Carmel Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.
