====================== HES POSTING ==================== [Some US members of HES will be interested in this and may not have seen it on other lists -- RBE] From: Arnie Katz Call for Papers: A conference on Integrating New Technologies in the Undergraduate Teaching of Economics will be held at the University of Pittsburgh in May 1998 with the support of the National Science Foundation and co-sponsorship of the Journal of Economic Education. The conference addresses the gap between rapidly advancing instructional technologies (broadly defined to include applications of experimental economics, collaborative learning, computer-based learning, etc.)and their use in teaching undergraduate economics. Authors of papers selected for the program will receive reimbursement of Conference expenses, an honorarium of $500, and consideration for publication of their work in a dedicated issue of the JEE. The deadline for submitting proposals is October 15, 1997.
