Equally, we probably all have some horror story to tell about shambolic management of projects as well as some knowledge of projects that have been carefully managed and tightly run. What kind of things make the difference? If this area interests you and/or is something you need to know about, then here is your chance to study some of the theoretical as well as the practical issues involved in project management (particularly of learning technology projects). We are running a *distance learning* course using the Internet on project management that looks at these issues. The course also looks at tools and techniques that can be used in project management. As a distance learning course, you can fit your learning about project management around ongoing work or other commitments. You and the other participants can join in from anywhere in the world using a range of resources including multimedia communication technologies.
