This is a very mild protest.

I don't switch off in the face of anomalous results. I switch off in  
the face of ill-informed abuse. 
 
There is a difference between Cambridge, c1965, (or heterodox  
economics now) on the one hand and mainstream economics on the other.  
Someone who wants to change the direction of economics has to convince  
others and convert them. Those who already dominate the field don't  
have to bother. Abusive writing about 'neoclassical' economics is not  
just bad manners, it is stupid and ineffective. The mainstream doesn't  
normally abuse others. It ignores them, which is far more deadly.
