The Paine biography states the following lines were uttered by Richard Watson Gilder at Clara's wedding to Ossip Gabrilowitsch: Over the hills and far away, Beyond the utmost purple rim, Beyond the night, beyond the day, Through all the world she followed him. Is this is a quotation from Gilder's own work, or someone else's? I've always wondered, but have not yet identified the source. Anyone know the answer? Regards, Mary Leah Christmas
