===================== HES POSTING =================== Dear Colleagues We am writing to encourage you to submit the abstract of your working papers to "Abstracts in the History of Economics" (AHE) the archive of history of economics papers that Eh.Net maintains on behalf of the History of Economics Society. The only requirement for submitting an abstract is that you are ready to send out copies of your working paper to people requesting a copy. If you want to make contact with others interested in the same issues then AHE is a good way. Notices of the abstracts are sent out to about 560 people by e-mail (on the HES list). The economic history archive run by Eh.Net reports that papers listed in their archive typically attract 5-10 requests for a copy (we don't have similar stats yet on AHE). The abstract library currently contains 55 abstracts of papers from the past year. AHE also posts abstracts of articles published in leading history of economics journals (currently, HOPE, HER, and JHET send us abstracts of many of their articles). Feel free to send abstracts of your published articles to AHE. To submit an abstract, or to visit the abstract archive, simply go to: http://www.eh.net/HisEcSoc/abstracts/ and follow the instructions.
