Dear List Members: As part of the development and future evaluation phase of a telephone counselling service specifically aimed at increasing the awareness of women about their risk of heart disease and three relevant risk factors - I would first like to ask if anyone has tried this and secondly is anyone aware of the application of a theoretical model of behaviour change to the context of women and heart health? Anyone used Transtheoretical Model, Theory of Planned Behaviour, Protection Motivation Theory ............. Just trying to avoid re-inventing the wheel, particularly in regard to the development of measures. Thanks for any thought, suggestions or recommendation you might have, Alan.
