=================== HES POSTING ======================= History of Economic Thought Society of Australia Twelfth Conference CALL FOR PAPERS The Australian National University Canberra, Australia, 14-16 July 1999 The Conference The History of Economic Thought Society of Australia (HETSA) will hold its 1999 annual conference at the Humanities Research Centre, Australian National University, Canberra, between Wednesday 14 July and Friday 16 July. The conference usually attracts between 40 and 60 participants. The majority of participants are Australia-based, but the conference also draws about a dozen academics from Asia, Europe and North America. E. Roy Weintraub will be a keynote speaker at the Conference. The 1999 conference will continue the HETSA tradition of not having parallel sessions. As a result, the number of papers is limited to 24 over the three days. In addition, there will be at least one working paper session for those participants who may wish to present a shorter discussion of on-going research.
