Job Description: The Presbyterian Church in Canada 
Archives seeks a qualified individual to appraise, arrange, 
describe and preserve a series of photographs from the 
Archives' photographic collection.  Additionally, the individual
will select approximately 25 images from the collection that 
best represent the historical development and heritage of 
The Presbyterian Church in Canada.  Using these images, the
individual will plan and develop a web-site exhibit, which will 
showcase and highlight the collection to our researchers. 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will be currently 
enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited university 
or college archival/records program. The individual should 
have previous experience working with archival photographic 
collections; familiarity using RAD; excellent research, writing 
and organizational skills; knowledge of current copyright laws; 
web-site design and development skills and knowledge of 
HTML.  Some knowledge of the history and structure of The 
Presbyterian Church in Canada would be beneficial. 


Location: 50 Wynford Dr., Toronto, Ontario
Duration: June 7th - Sept. 10th, 1999
Salary and benefits:  $12.00 per hour plus requisite benefits
