Job Title: Project Archivist
Location: The Law Society of Upper Canada, 130 Queen St. W., Toronto
Duration: early June 1999 to September 10, 1999, with possibility of extension 
Salary: $13 per hour

Project Description: The Law Society of Upper Canada Archives seeks a qualified individual to appraise, arrange and describe (in accordance with the Rules for Archival Description) a series of corporate records. In addition, the individual will enter descriptive entries into a GENCAT records database. 
 
Qualifications Required: 
- The successful candidate will be in the process of completing, or recently completed, a Masters degree in Archival Studies or equivalent
- Experience applying the Rules for Archival Description
- Strong computer skills, experience with GENCAT preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a large volume of detailed work 
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
