The first posting of the SoundList E-newsletter took place on May 2, 2000. As of February 10, 2014 SoundList has 1247 subscribers.

Administration

SoundList was founded by Rob Wannamaker, who still administers the website and the functionality of the listserver. The content of postings, however, is now the purview of SoundList's four-person editorial board, which may be contacted at submissions@soundlist.ca.

SoundList is run entirely by volunteers.
