The West Toronto Junction Historical Society is an all-volunteer group that manages a small archive in Toronto. We are looking for a volunteer to guide us in stand-alone implementation of AtoM to contain our 5,000 plus already-scanned items and records. Eventual transfer of the data to Archeion is planned.
Spring is in the air hinting at the warm summer breezes ahead and that means it's time to think about submitting to the Summer 2024 issue of Off the Record!

In dealing with some “to be transferred” files in our archives, I’ve come across a promotional circular, dated 1954, from the Pennsylvania Athletic Products company. Interestingly, the letter is signed by John H. Munro, Manager of Equipo Company, 133 Jarvis Street, Toronto. I assume that Equipo Company was a local distributor of Pennsylvania Athletic Products.
