For "Off the Record":

The Thunder Bay Historical Musuem Society is pleased to announce the
publication of "Thunder Bay Mayors & Councillors (1873-1945), Including Port
Arthur, Fort William, Shuniah and Neebing, A Biographical and Geneaological
Dictionary and Electoral History" by Frederick Brent Scollie. This
full-length book and CD-ROM will be launched in Thunder Bay at the end of
November, 2000. It represents the culmination of years of archival research
by its author and provides readers with over 400 detailed biographical
sketches of community leaders -- an indispensible resource for the study of
family, political and social history. This is one of three books to be
published this year by the Society.
