In his book _On the Poetry of Mark Twain_ (Univ. of Illinois Press,
1966) Arthur Scott reprints the longest poem Twain ever wrote --
"A Ballotd."  The poem, dated 1871, was signed "Twark Main"
(a signature which was used at least one other time in 1887 for
an essay titled "Archimedes.")

Scott expressed his gratitude to the Mark Twain Research
Foundation of Perry, Missouri for providing him with a
photocopy of the rare broadside on which "A Ballotd" was
printed.

Is the Mark Twain Research Foundation, formerly of Perry,
Missouri still operational?  If not, is/was there any public
record of the Foundation's holdings and rare Twain documents?
Or any auction catalogs or public record of how or when these
items may have been dispersed?
