Hi, Tracy--and the rest of the MT Forum. I should be driving from Brooklyn
to Elmira on the night of the 5th and returning to Brooklyn on the 9th. I'd
love to have one or two people drive with me, especially if they can share
the actual driving itself. It's about a 5 hour trip, assuming normal
traffic conditions.
I could pick up and drop people at the Borough Hall subway station in
Brooklyn, a place where both eastside and westside trains go through and
where taxis to the airports should be available, either outside the subway
stop or else by walking about 3 blocks to a street that cabs frequent on
their way in and out of Manhattan.
I agree--flying in and out of upstate NY these days costs a fortune.
