Thanks for the additional info, Jim. If Buffett acknowledges his Twain
"borrowings" then all is forgiven for mining Twain's works. I assume Buffett
shares his royalties with the Mark Twain Project, thereby fully
acknowledging his debt. With such a rich vein to work, you'd think he'd pick
out better ore. Pardon me if I resist the temptation to add his albums to my
collection. ;-)
But this doesn't get RD off the hook for their editorial standards. It's
obvious from their letter they are unaware of his acknowledged borrowings,
and they even attributed that quote to the wrong song.
