For the 2005 MLA, the American Humor Studies Association has two panels:
one on Woody Allen and one on joke cycles. I need one more paper for the
Woody Allen panel and two for the joke cycles panel. Any aspect of Woody
Allen's career, including his stand-up comedy, his films, his books, and so
on. For the joke cycles, examinations of elephant jokes, blonde jokes, and
so on. Please send me an abstract if you are interested to the email
address below. Thanks!
(I apologize for no Mark Twain content, but I need to fill these panels
before the April 1 deadline, and I am sure some folks on the list are
interested in either or both topics.)
