ANNOUNCING H-US1918-45: H-Net Discussion List on the New Deal Era and
its Origins

ABOUT H-US1918-45
H-US1918-45, The New Deal era and its Origins, provides a forum
for research and teaching the history of the United States, from
1918 to 1945. The primary purpose of H-US1918-45 is to
encourage lively and professional discussion of this important
period in history. We are not exclusively an academic list. We also
invite the participation of K-12 teachers, public historians, historic
preservationists and public policy makers. Our discussions can
include any of the following topics: current research and research
interests; methods and tools of analysis; reviews of primary and
secondary sources; calls for papers, conferences, grants,
fellowships.
Through its association with the New Deal Network
(http://newdeal.feri.org), H-US1918-45 supports the development of
online resources for scholars and the general public.
H-US1918-45 is free and open to anyone with a serious and abiding
interest in the subject. Like all H-Net lists, H-US1918-45 is
moderated to edit out material that, in the editors' opinion, is not
germane to the list, involves technical matters (such as
subscription management requests), is inflammatory, or violates
evolving, yet common, standards of Internet etiquette.
