===================== HES POSTING ==================

I am trying to find basic biographical information on 33 of the people
who reviewed Keynes's General Theory in 1936 (birth, death, position,
political career) and there are some people I have failed to locate.
I have tried the standard reference sources (Who's Who, Who's Who in
America, AEA Directories, JSTOR, ...).

Does anyone recognise any of the following names? If so I would be
grateful for information. My deadline is very short, as it is to go
in a volume of reviews to be published (in paperback at low price by
Thoemmes Press next March - end of commercial).

**Adarkar, BP (Indian?)
**Butchart, Montgomery (American?)
**Coe, Virginius (Canadian? Is he the VF Coe who wrote 'The gains from
trade', CanJEPS 1935?)
**Douglas, Henry (British? probably journalist)
**Fordham, Montague (American?)
**Stewart, Maxwell (published pamphlets with Public Affairs Committee,
NY in 1940s)

I am short of dates of death (unless they are very long-lived) for:

**Beckhart, BH (born 1897)
**Taylor, Horace (born 1894)
**Hardy, CO (born 1884)
