Call for Papers 
 
The International Network for Economic Method will sponsor two  
sessions at the meetings of the Allied Social Sciences Association  
(ASSA) January 5-7, 2001(Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in New  
Orleans, Louisiana.  Please submit abstracts for papers (about 200  
words) and especially suggestions for organizing sessions no later  
than 1 May 2000.  Proposals, which may relate to any aspect of  
economic methodology, the philosophy or sociology of science  
applied to economics, or other areas of interest to economic  
methodologists, should be sent to Kevin D. Hoover, Chair, INEM,

752-9382.  Papers presented at the ASSA may also be submitted  
to the Journal of Economic Methodology.  The editors of JEM also  
encourage session organizers to submit whole sessions as mini- 
symposia or as the core of enlarged symposia.
