Well, if Roy Weintraub is going to be modest, I might as well be  
too.  Last month Kluwer Academic published volume I of the  
second edition of my _From Catastrophe to Chaos: A General  
Theory of Economic Discontinuities_, subtitled, _Mathematics,  
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Finance_.  There is a lot  
of history of thought on dynamics in economics in general in it.   
The first edition (one volume) was published by Kluwer in 1991.
