        Hamilton, Ontario is an award winning, model sustainable community
on lake Ontario with many amenities.  We currently have opportunities in our
Social and Public Health Services Department - a Public Health Research,
Education, and Development Unit affiliated with McMaster University and the
University of Guelph



        Multiple positions are available related to Chronic Disease
Prevention and Substance Abuse Prevention, working on topics such as
population-based smoking cessation, tobacco use prevention, public health
policy, workplace health, heart health, adult alcohol use and prevention of
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

        You have a Master's Degree in Health Science, Health Promotion or
related area or a Baccalaureate Degree with two years related experience.
Alternatively, you have a Master's Degree in Marketing or Communications
with a specialty in social marketing and health communications. You show
demonstrated competence in program planning, implementation and evaluation,
health promotion strategies, behaviour change theory and community
mobilization. Your talent for written and verbal communication rounds out
your qualifications.
