Biographical Dictionary of Literary Influences: The Twentieth 
Century 
 
Call for Contributors 
 
With the companion volume on the 19th century now in print 
(Greenwood Press, 2000), we are seeking scholars to assist us in 
tracing reading practices and literary influences in the lives of 
450 of the most important men and women who influenced Western 
culture during the 20th century. 
 
For a full description of the project, including writing guidelines, 
list of entries, and sample article, go to the project website. 
Articles (600 or 850 words) are due on August 7, 2001.
