Everything is history, or will be. It could be said that everything is politics, too, but is presented variously based on a person's biases and predelictions.
This can cause the same source material to be presented quite differently (compare Howard Zinn's works with your elementary school textbook as regards U.S. history, or Van Wyck Brooks with A.B. Paine for Twain history, for example). - B. Clay Shannon
