=================== HES POSTING ======================

Leijonhuvod tells me that there is also an unpublished filmed
series of interviews by Leijonhuvod with Hayek in Leijonhuvod's
personal possession, which is not part of the UCLA Oral
History Interviews with Hayek. If I remember correctly the interviews
were conducted in 1975 or 1976 and were filmed in Austria.
Whether Hayek discussed the emigre economists in these interviews
I don't know.

It is worth noting that a small selection from the 1978 UCLA Oral History
Program interviews with Hayek organized by Armen Alchian can be found in
Friedrich Hayek, _Hayek on Hayek_ Chicago: U. of Chicago Press, 1994.
Anyone seriously interested in the history of the Austrian emigres should
consult the UCLA Oral History Program transcripts however. These
interviews contain a variety of conversations about a number of Austrians
emigres and issues surrounding their lives and fate. Very little of this
material made its way into _Hayek on Hayek_.
