The Nominations Committee of the History of Economics Society invites
nominations for candidates to serve as: President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, and two Members of the Executive Committee.

Please forward your nominations to me by October 31, 2008 at hands at ups.edu.
I will confirm safe receipt of all nominations. It would be helpful if the
nominations were accompanied by a short statement in support of the
nominated person. 

The HES Nominating Committee is composed of the Past President who has just
left the Executive Committee (who is Chair) and two other members appointed
by the President. The committee for 2008-2009 consists of D. Wade Hands
(Chair), Harro Maas and Neil Skaggs.
