SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The  Scotiabank  Group  Archives is an information centre maintained by the
Scotiabank   Group   to   protect,   preserve   &  facilitate  the  use  of
permanent-value  records  in all media. Exercising initiative and judgement
in  responding  to the frequent unusual situations that arise in a research
facility,  you  should  be  a team player, with strong research skills, and
excellent  oral  and  written  communication  skills,  who is enrolled in a
University  Program in Archival Studies or a related field. You should also
have knowledge of CS/Textworks and Excel.

This 16 week contract, runs from May 7 to August 24, 2007 (start and end
dates are negotiable). You will work on a variety of projects including the
digitization of photographs and documents, digital photography of the fine
art collection, historical research and data input.

The  contract pays $16.00/hour. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from
8:30 – 5:00.
