================== HES POSTING ======================

The History of Economics Society is pleased to announce that its
constitution is now available on-line at

http://www.eh.net/ehnet/HisEcSoc/Society/constitution.shtml

(you will find a link to that URL if you go to http://www.eh.net/HisEcSoc
and then follow the "About the History of Economics Society" button).

The on-line version incorporates the latest amendments, and will be
updated whenever the constitution is amended at the annual Society
meetings. The last print version of the constitution available can be
found in the Fall 1997 issue of the Journal of the History of Economic
Thought.

My thanks to Paul Wendt for suggesting an on-line version of the
constitution, and John Bethune (the Society's Secretary-Treasurer) and
Malcolm Rutherford (a past President of the Society) for their help
finalizing the text.
