The History of Economics Society invites proposals for a special  
session at it upcoming meeting to recognize the work of young  
scholars.  The Young Scholars Session will be held at the June 2000  
HES conference, University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, BC.  
Scholars who are working on a PhD in the History of Economic  
Thought or some related field, or who have completed their doctorate  
within the past 5 years, are invited to submit paper proposals for this  
session.  Please send proposals of no more than 200 words,  to
