Just to clarify, I didn't take a position on either publisher; neither of 
the items Prof. Plasmeijer disputes are my arguments or suggestions.  I 
passed along a quote from someone who had also expressed concern about the 
cost of distribution of scholarly materials.   
 
On the other hand, to the best of my knowledge, at least often, the same 
publishers are involved in books and journals, so many of the same issues 
would apply to both.
