This may not be appropriate for this list as he was not much of a historian of economics,
although some of his students are, but Don Lavoie of George Mason University passed away
from cancer on November 6, at the age of 50. Originally a Sovietologist, then later a
leader of the market process branch of the Austrian School, he had been interested in
hermeneutics and post modern analysis in recent years.
