Dear Alec,

You might be interested in the Austrian School economists: Carl Menger,
Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, et al. If you are not familiar with
this school of thought, it is centrally concerned with viewing economic
activity as a process, set in real time, and emphasizes "systematic
completeness" and "certainty."

If interested, the best place to start a literature search and to
familiarize yourself with the Austrian School approach is www.mises.org.
