HES: QUERY -- Marshall and 'industrial revolution'

A natural place to start with would be Marshall's "Industry and Trade," 1919. In fact,
there he uses the term "Industrial Revolution" at least twice. If you read the passages
you will see that he did not like the term much; as in the case of the development of
theory he thought that progress takes the form of evolution rather than revolution.
