Could i add something about critical thinking?

I got this from my professor

For classes in economics that require a higher level of math, like mathematical economics
or intermediate micro with heavy math, it is hard to measure critical thinking inside the
classroom, as most students would copy notes, listen to the lecturer, and trying to
understand the solution. The critical thinking part comes when you go home and do the
homework/assignments required from you. That separates you who understand and could work
out a harder question in math than those who had just listened but did not understand.
