CALL FOR PAPERS 
 
The Eighth Annual Conference of European Society for the History of 
Economic Thought (ESHET), Venezia and Treviso 2004.  
 
Scientific Committee: Richard Arena, Ferruccio Bresolin, Alberto Giacomin, 
Maria Cristina Marcuzzo, Pier Luigi Porta, Erich Streissler. 
 
The Eighth Annual Conference of the European Society for the History of 
Economic Thought (ESHET) will be held on February 26-29, 2004 at the 
Universitą Ca' Foscari, Venezia and Treviso, Italy.  
 
The theme of the Conference is "Money and Markets", but proposals for 
papers or sessions on all aspects of the history of economic thought are 
welcome. Selected papers on the theme of the Conference will be published 
in a volume. 
 
Submit an abstract of no more than 200 words for a paper or no more than 
400 words for a session before September 15, 2003. Ph.D students are 
invited to present a paper to a special seminar held on the day prior to 
the Conference.  
 
Applications with supporting letters by their supervisors and a proposal 
should be sent by September 15, 2003. A few grants to cover accommodation 
costs will be made available.
