Dear MTF listers

Many thanks to the many members who kindly informed me of how I might be
able to track down a copy of "History of the American Stage" by T Allston
Brown, Dick + Fitz, New York, 1870. Several people have pointed out that the
book was reprinted in 1969, so it seems likely I will soon have the
information I seek.

I found an abridged version online that concentrates on circus performers at
<http://www.circushistory.org/History/Brown.htm> but the full version is
what I'm after.

The Mark Twain Forum's assistance throughout the year has spawned several
ongoing investigations (and stopped a few dead in their tracks :).
Collectively, and often individually, the forum equates to an incredibly
powerful research tool.
