[NOTE: I have posted a previous message about this service, but this
message provides newer information. Jstor is only available through your
academic library's site license. If your library does not have a license,
the URL provided in the message has information about the Jstor pricing
structure.--RBE]

Here is a source that may be useful to some of you:

        http://www.jstor.org/jstor

This is a non-profit organization that is transcribing the following
set of journals (all of them - from the beginning until now) into
electronic form [very nice fascimile copies, I might add -- RBE]:

                    The American Economic Review
                    Econometrica
                    The Journal of Economic Perspectives
                    The Journal of Political Economy
                    The Quarterly Journal of Economics
The Review of Economics and Statistics
Journal of Money, Credit & Banking

At present, only the first few volumes are available for reading on the
web, but in time, I presume they will all be available.
