Dear Friends,

This is your final reminder of our extra special evening event for TAAG
members and friends: Exploring Margaret Laurence at York University
Archives. This will be held this week on Wednesday March 3rd at 6 pm.

Two York professors, who were friends with the author and are Laurence
scholars, will share their insights into the work of one of Canada's
greatest writers. We will also have the opportunity to explore the Laurence
fonds at York University Archives.

SPECIAL NOTE: A group of us from the Archives of Ontario will be heading to
York and you are welcome to join us. Please meet at the DWA (Designated
Waiting Area) on the northbound subway platform at Queens Park Station at 5
pm. We'll all go together and in that way, avoid getting lost!

If you would like to join us at York on March 3rd to meet with Professors
Clara Thomas and John Lennox, please RSVP to Sean Smith at (416) 736-5442 or
[log in to unmask] Participants are encouraged to reread their favourite
Laurence novel or to try one they haven't read in preparation for the
evening's activities. In fine TAAG tradition, a pub will follow at the York
Grad Lounge.

For directions on getting to York, please consult the map and instructions
available at www.yorku.ca/yorkweb/maps/index.htm

The Archives is located in Room 305 of Scott Library. A detailed map of the
campus is available at www.yorku.ca/yorkweb/maps/york2d/index.htm

If you become completely lost on campus, call Sean Smith at (416) 736-5442
for emergency assistance.
