Apologies for cross-posting, or multiple postings (my original seems to have
bounced back to me).

I have been asked by my sponsoring body to put together an estimate of
costs (equipment, staff and ongoing maintenance) for digitizing our
entire collection and maintaining our collection only in digital form
(aka no more paper). The issue surrounds our ongoing battle for adequate
archival facilities.

I was hoping someone else had done this sort of thing so I wouldn't have
to reinvent the wheel. Perhaps there is some sort of figure per linear
feet of records? I am of course also to put together a list of pros and
cons of eliminating paper records.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
