Greetings AAOLIST subscribers,
Please be advised that effective immediately, and after much
consideration, I have changed the parameters for the AAOLIST so that
when someone "replies" to a posting on the list, the reply will only be
sent to the original poster, not to the whole list.
Why wasn't this done sooner, you ask?
A. This now means that if you want your reply to be seen by the whole
list, you will have to explicitly copy your reply to [log in to unmask]
I have done this for the obvious reason that enough people consistently
reply to the whole list instead of an individual, meaning that I receive
regular compliants. Should the reverse problem now occur....
The subscription instructions found on the AAO web site and in Off the
Record will be changed as soon as possible.
