Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Archives of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Toronto (ARCAT), the incumbent will support the Director in the application
of ARCAT's mandate, policies and procedures by:
*       Assisting in the execution of ARCAT's Reference services, accessioning,
arrangement and description, records management, database maintenance,
preservation,  and outreach programs.
*       Assuming responsibility for the Archives in the absence of the Director
*       Co-ordinating of the cyclical microfilming of archdiocesan parish
sacramental records
*       Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications:
*       Two to four years experience in an archival environment
*       An undergraduate degree, preferably in history
*       Masters in Archival studies would be an asset
*       Thorough working knowledge of Rules for Archival Description
*       Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook, InMagic DB Textworks
*       Experience in conducting online research
*       Familiarity with Toronto and Ontario history
*       Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
*       Demonstrated effectiveness as a  contributor to team work
