The 7th European Conference on the History of Economics, devoted to 
"Economic Science and Visual Representation".  will take place at the 
University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) on September 14 - 16, 2001.  There 
follows an outline of the conference programme.  Additional participants 
will attend from universities in Montreal, Vermont and Virginia and from 
the American Institute of Graphic Arts.  Those desiring further information
