The Norwich and District Historical Society would like to advertise the
following job opening:

The Norwich and District Historical Society requires an
Archivist/Curator for a permanent full-time position.  The successful
candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Museum and/or Archival
studies.  This position requires a highly energetic, dynamic, and
motivated self-starter to work in both the Museum and Archives.
Computer literacy and experience with grant writing is a must.  The job
requires a person who is able to prioritize and multi-task in a very
diverse environment.  Educational programming is also an important
component of the Society.  The Archivist/Curator will work in
consultation and with direction from the Board of Directors to meet the
mandate of the Norwich and District Historical Society.  This full-time
position is 35-40 hours per week and will require some weekend and
evening work.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.  For further
