====================== HES POSTING ====================

Folks:

For a description of WoPEc, the Electronic Working Papers in Economics web
site, see

        http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/ariadne/issue8/wopec/

The electronic journal it appears in, Ariadne, provides the following
abstract:

> Thomas Krichel describes WoPEc, a working papers project. This article
> is a slightly longer version of the article in the equivalent print
> issue of Ariadne.

A better abstract: Krichel briefly states the rationale for systematic
presentation of working papers online, and recounts the origin and what
happened to WoPEc (Working Papers in Economics), where he is director.
