STRIKE AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY 
 
The Director General of Collections and Services at the British 
Library, David Bradbury, has asked the following notice to be posted to  
lists which might reach scholars affected by the temporary closure of the  
British Library reading rooms: 
 
 
I wonder if you can help the British Library to make known that all its St  
Pancras reading rooms will be closed for at least the week beginning  
Monday 1 March.  We have been hit by strike action by one of our Trades  
Unions.
