CALL FOR PAPERS for YOUNG SCHOLARS in the History of Economics

Once again this year the History of Economics Society has agreed to sponsor
Young Scholars Sessions at its 2004 annual conference to be held at
Victoria University, Toronto, Canada June 25-28. These sessions are
designed to support and highlight research in the History of Economics,
broadly defined, by PhD candidates and scholars who have obtained their
PhD's within the last 2 years. This is the 5th year that we will sponsor
such sessions, which have been highly successful in past years. Young
Scholars are invited to attend the Conference banquet as guests of the
Society. In addition, Young Scholars are given a year's membership in the
Society and a free subscription to the Society's journal, JHET, for a year.
Individuals who wish to be considered for these sessions should submit a
paper proposal on the web-based proposal submission form linked to the
conference website at

http://eh.net/HE/HisEcSoc/carchive/HES2004/call.shtml

Use the Young Scholar link to submit a paper under the auspices of the
Young Scholar program. Unsuccessful proposals for those sessions will
automatically be reconsidered for a regular session at the conference. The
deadline for submissions is, as the website states, February 15, 2004.
