H-NET DISTRIBUTION LIST FOR NCC REPORTS
Sponsored by H-Net, Humanities and Social Sciences On-line
and
The National Coordinating Committee for the Promotion of
History
H-NCC is the official electronic voice of The National
Coordinating Committee for the Promotion of History. It
publishes original weekly reports, averaging 800 to 1000
words, about news and events in Washington related to
history and archives. H-NCC especially focuses on the
National Endowment for the Humanities, the National
Archives, the Library of Congress, declassification of
archival documents, copyright issues, funding for the
humanities and museums, the National Park Service, historic
preservation, and the relevant work of Congressional
committees. Dr Page Putnam Miller, the executive director
of NCC, covers the Washington beat and writes the reports.
H-NCC is edited by Dr Miller and by Richard Jensen of H-Net.
H-Net: Humanities and Social Sciences On-Line publishes and
archives these reports at http://h-net.msu.edu/~ncc/.
H-NCC is NOT a discussion list at this time. People who want
to discuss the issues involved are encouraged to do so on
the H-Net lists; more information about H-Net can be found
at the H-Net Web Site, located at http://h-net.msu.edu.
