As the upcoming president-elect of HES, I have the responsibility 
of organizing the HES meetings in 1998.  It is likely that I will make 
arrangements for the meetings on June 12-15 in Montreal at the University 
of Quebec at Montreal, curtesy of Robert Leonard. (People I have talked 
to said they prefer Montreal to the other possibilities that were 
available.)  I will be moving ahead relatively soon, and just wanted to 
check and see if those dates had some fatal flaw.
